OWN IT FESTIVAL ‘24

The second OWN IT Festival took place on International Women’s Day under the theme Reflect Radiance. OWN IT Fest encourages attendees to connect to their mental health, and create a welcoming environment to help distract from outside stressors through live entertainment, food trucks, a marketplace, and workshops

  • The workshops offered were:

    • pot painting

    • yoga

    • mediation

    • self defense

  • The vendors at the marketplace are from Davis, CA. They sold goods, such as handmade jewelry, pens, crotchet plushies, and many more.

    Many student clubs and organizations were given a table at the marketplace during the festival to promote their clubs to other UCD students.

  • This year entertainment consisted of multiple different type of performances:

    • solo artist

    • duo

    • luau dance group

    • DJ
