Laurie A. Watkins is a recognized expert in a variety of fields ranging from public policy, national security, agribusiness, aviation & aerospace, and disaster response. Her ambitious attitude led her to work for former President Barack Obama as the Administration Presidential appointee. In addition, she has held positions as President Obama’s 08′ Deputy Political Director and 12′ Policy Director for the state of Florida.
As a high impact leader, she takes charge by providing expert advice and consultations to organizations and businesses. She is passionate about expanding education and opportunities for young women and girls. As a human rights champion and women’s rights advocate, she knows the responsibility that comes with potentially changing people’s life, professionally and personally.
Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Affairs from Florida State University and a MPA from Florida Atlantic University.
